Join Strait Country Tribute Friday, May 14, 2027, at the Greenville Municipal Auditorium (the "GMA"), a beautifully preserved 1930s Art Deco venue and a premier cultural hub known for its exceptional acoustics and star-studded history Built in 1939 as a Works Progress Administration project, the 1,439-seat venue is legendary for hosting music royalty, including Elvis Presley (who performed there in 1955), Duke Ellington, Loretta Lynn, George Jones, and Merle Haggard. Greenville is notably the only community outside of Dallas with an exclusive residency agreement with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra. GMA regularly hosts high-quality seasonal musicals (e.g., by the Greenville Family Theatre) and Broadway-style performances.
